Rebecca Burns is an award-winning author who focuses on Southern history. She was editor-in-chief of 'Atlanta' magazine from 2002 to 2009 and is the author of Rage in the Gate City: The Story of the 1906 Atlanta Race Riot (University of Georgia Press, 2009). Her book 'Burial for a King' - about Martin Luther King Jr.'s 1968 funeral in Atlanta - will be published by Scribner in late 2010.
