Ad for Atlanta's Whisk 'a Go-Go.  This was a branch of the more famous Whiskey A Go Go club on the Sunset Strip in Los Angeles.  After debuting at 114 Ponce de Leon Ave, the club relocated to a space within the Imperial Hotel for a while.  Click here to see an ad for when it was located within the Imperial.

In 1965, Ronnie Milsap was only 22 years old and was still quite a long way from the stardom he later reached ( he went on to chart an astonishing 40 #1 hits on the country charts).  Unfortunately, all the Ronnie Milsap songs I've ever heard were dismal, over-produced atrocities.  But, hey, scoring forty #1 hits is quite an accomplishment, and if snobby whiners like me don't dig his music Ronnie can probably deal with that.
