As mentioned earlier, the Clermont opened its doors for business in 1924 as an apartment house, rather than as a hotel. The earliest Clermont hotel nightclub ad that I've found is this one, dating back to 1947 although I would not be surprised to find evidence that nightclubs operated there even earlier.
