Yet another vintage postcard depicting the Biltmore Hotel. For many years, this huge hotel offered the finest accommodations in town. Today, it serves as office space.
Date: After spending several hours squinting closely at the postmark on the back of this card (below) I believe it was sent in 1944 or perhaps 1949. This guess is lent a little bit of credibility by the fact that the stamp on the back is a one cent stamp and one cent was the going rate for postcards from 1926 until 1952, which I learned here.
